State-3 enters semi-final of PM Cup Cricket ournament

Kathmandu, June 3 : State-3 has entered the semi-final of the Prime Minister Cup One-Day National Men’s Cricket Tournament by defeating Sudurpaschim State on Monday. State-3 defeated Sudurpaschim state by 6 wickets in the match held at Mulpani Cricket Ground. With this victory, State-3 has become winner of Group ‘A’. Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Sudurpaschim State made 154 runs losing all wickets in 45.1 overs. Kadak Bohara of Sudurpaschim state scored 40 runs while Roshan Adhikary made 27, Naresh Bohara, 26 and captain Sher Malla 14 runs.

Surya Tamang of State-3 took three wickets while Pratish GC and Jitendra Singh Thakuri two wickets each. In reply, State-3 gathered 155 runs in 33.2 overs at the loss of 4 wickets. Ishan Pandey top-scored with 53 runs for State-3. Captain Paras Khadka made 26 runs, Rabin Joshi 13, Pratish GC, 11 while Adil Khan and Jitendra Singh Thakuri remained not out at 33 and 12 runs respectively. Bikas Agri, Sher Malla, Binod Lama and Mahesh Adhikari of Sudurpaschim state took one wicket each.(RSS)
