Judge Teknath Gautam issued the order on Thursday, according to the case summary, and Adhikari is being transferred to Nakkhu Jail while legal proceedings move forward.

According to the reports, Adhikari is accused of extorting 45 million rupees from an individual by threatening to expose or defame a personal relationship.
