Seven people were injured on Tuesday morning after an ambulance and a mini truck collided at Manahari in Myagde Rural Municipality-6, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway.

The crash involved a truck traveling from Pokhara to Damauli and an ambulance coming from the opposite direction. According to Police Inspector Deepak Kumar Karki of the District Police Office, Tanahun, the injured include six ambulance passengers and the truck driver.

One of the injured is reported to be in serious condition. Authorities have not yet released further details about the identities of those hurt or the exact cause of the collision.

The Prithvi Highway is one of Nepal's busiest and most accident-prone routes, with frequent traffic incidents reported across the Tanahun corridor. Tuesday's crash adds to the growing list of serious road accidents on this stretch, where heavy vehicles, emergency responders, and local traffic often share the same narrow and fast-moving roadway.

Police are expected to continue investigating the circumstances of the accident.
