Surkhet Police have arrested businessman Shyam Sundar Agrawal in Birendranagar after a raid that reportedly uncovered illegal gold and silver jewelry valued at around Rs 30 million.

According to the police, the operation was carried out by the District Police Office Surkhet at Shiva Emporium near Rajachok in Birendranagar Municipality-6. Deputy Superintendent of Police Kabindra Singh Bohara confirmed that the seized items are worth approximately three crore rupees.
