Teen Missing After Falling Into Trishuli River During Fishing Incident in Tanahun

A fishing trip turned into a desperate search operation in Tanahun after a 15-year-old boy reportedly slipped into the Trishuli River and went missing on Wednesday morning in Devghat Rural Municipality-4.

According to local reports, the teenager fell into the river at Gaighat while attempting to pull a fishing line, and has not yet been found. A police team led by Sub-Inspector Tirtha Raj Sharma from the Area Police Office Devghat has been deployed to search the river and surrounding area.

Search efforts continue

Local authorities are continuing rescue and search operations as officers work along the riverbank and nearby stretches of the Trishuli. The incident has drawn urgent attention from residents in the area, where river currents can be powerful and difficult to navigate.
